Dr. B.R. Das is a healthcare leader with more than 40 years of experience in Molecular Medicine and has been contributing now as an Advisor and Mentor in the area of Molecular Diagnostics and Clinical Genomics. Currently he is working as the Chief Evangelist: in MEDAS Healthcare , Germany. He was associated with SRL for last 20 years as President, Executive Director and Advisor and Mentor. Prior to that he was working as Professor in Medical Biotechnology in Government of India for nearly 15 years. Dr. Das acts as Scientific Advisory Committee Member, Visiting Professor and Research Guide at several reputed institutes and Industries of India and abroad. He has been a Visiting Professor in Case Western Reserve University Hospital, Cleveland, USA, and Kyoto Medical School, Japan.

Dr. Das has been serving as a member of International Affairs Committee (IAC) of Association of Molecular Pathology (AMP), USA for India and is also an Expert member in the Molecular Pathology Committee of the Association of Indian Pathologist of North America (AIPNA). Dr. Das is the founder President of the Molecular Pathologists Association of India (MPAI).

With more than 100 research papers to his credit, published in peer reviewed international journals, Dr. Das has mentored several Ph.D. and post-doctoral scientists to complete their clinical research work. His research work has been highly acclaimed in India and abroad for which he has been honoured with several prestigious awards such as the Best Young Scientist Award conferred by Indian National Science Academy (INSA), Indian Science Congress Association’s (ISCA) Young Scientist Award, MP Young Scientist Award, KI Memorial Award for Promotion of Medical Research in Japan, Samantha Chandrasekhar Award from Orissa Bigyan Academy, Technology Achievement Award, 100 Most Impactful Healthcare Leaders Award listed globally. In June 2022, Dr. Das received the Life Time Achievement Award in Healthcare Innovation from the Aristocrat Media, India.
